A la par del avance de un movimiento que promueve una economía de triple impacto -económico, social y ambiental- y con la mirada puesta en los efectos que puede tener una actividad productiva sobre el bienestar, crece el número de emprendedores que se proponen objetivos como convertir residuos en insumos, dar oportunidades de empleo a quienes sufren una situación de vulnerabilidad o lograr que se planten más árboles y que haya más áreas verdes.
“Se trata de promover el desarrollo económico sustentable a través de nuevos empresarios que gestionen siendo conscientes de las oportunidades de negocios que surgen al buscar, por sobre todo, el bienestar de las personas y del planeta”, explican en Mayma, un programa que impulsa los emprendimientos con impacto social.
Por décimo año consecutivo y bajo la organización de la ONG Contribuir al Desarrollo Local y de la empresa social Emprediem, se abrió la inscripción para participar de un programa de aceleración de emprendimientos, con acceso a un equipo de profesionales que otorgan herramientas para potenciar los negocios y capacitan en metodologías aplicadas a proyectos sostenibles. El plan prevé la asignación, para cada iniciativa, de uno de los 300 mentores que integran la comunidad Mayma. También se ofrece acceso a una red de contactos de la industria y a créditos del Banco Galicia.
Esta entidad financiera relanzó recientemente su línea de mezzofinanzas, destinada a dar créditos de hasta 1 millón de pesos y a una tasa nominal anual de 22% a proyectos con impacto social y ambiental, desarrollados por personas físicas o jurídicas, incluidas ONG.
En la versión 2016 del Programa Mayma habrá dos becas con todo incluido para participar del Taller de Emprendedores Sociales VIVA 2017, que se desarrollará en Costa Rica. Se trata de un espacio de networking para emprendedores de la región de América latina.
El programa cuenta con la colaboración del Centro de Innovación Social de la Universidad de San Andrés y el apoyo de Banco Galicia, de VIVA (Visión y Valores para la Sustentabilidad), de Pan American Energy, Oikocredit, la consultora SMS y de La Bioguía.
