Un reciente estudio dio a conocer el ranking de las 100 empresas más destacadas por su responsabilidad social que operan en la región centroamericana y el Caribe.
Entre los primeros lugares se encuentran cinco empresas nacidas en la región como las más responsables y que están impactando con sus prácticas de forma directa a sus comunidades.
Entre las 10 primeras compañías, y la única de origen hondureño está el Grupo Financiero Ficohsa, que cuenta actualmente con presencia en Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá y Estados Unidos.
Ficohsa tiene una trayectoria de más de 16 años en el desarrollo de proyectos sociales relacionados con el aporte y contribución en las comunidades donde opera.
El espíritu de colaboración, servicio y el compromiso han llevado a Ficohsa a ser un referente de responsabilidad social en la región.
Entre sus principales proyectos destacan el apoyo a la educación infantil, por medio de la Fundación Ficohsa que ha beneficiado a la fecha un total de 92,299 niños y niñas en Centroamérica.
También está su programa de Educación Financiera con el fin de que el consumidor tome decisiones financieras responsables promoviendo el ahorro y a la vez, fortaleciendo el sistema financiero.
Otro proyecto insigne es “Honduras Recursos para mi Tierra”, cuyo objetivo es el apoyo trilateral a los agricultores por Funder, Ficohsa y supermercados La Colonia con asesoría técnica, financiamiento y garantía de compra de su producción.
